A round up to this week’s listings and why I love them.
We’ve finally unpacked from the pop up and set up the Folie Studio back for a busy winter period. It’s been a good few weeks since I’ve been to Italy of France sourcing, and I can’t wait to get back out again soon. Here’s a round up of my favourite listings from this week.
VINTAGE CERAMIC BASKETWEAVE
Vintage ceramic Basketweave planters. Sourced in Italy, however some are made in Spain. A perfect present for a home are loving friend or family member. They look incredibly with a big bushy fern popping out the top.
Coffee table
It seems like the whole world is looking for a coffee table at the moment. If you’re not wanting an upholstered piece of furniture, then coffee tables are actually quite hard to find. They can be so imposing and really set the tone of the room, so it’s important to get it right. We have a glass one at home, simple because I don’t like them to be too overpowering. This amazing a vintage Italian lucite, brass and glass is the find of the year. It’s perfect.

Italian Brass Mirrors
It’s a little bit of a scramble for Italian Brass mirrors at the moment. They’ve raised their profile due to a wealth of very famous US designers using them in projects. It also means that the prices have sky rocketed and listings on selling platforms such as 1st Dibs are now in the ££££+. We have our longstanding connections and are still sourcing some of the best out there. In January I go to Italy again to collect a really great set of 1950s shield mirrors. One of my favourite pieces is this unusual Italian Brass beaded mirror. It’s such a great size and the decorative beading really sets it off. It’s just pretty and striking.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s round up. Please email or message any questions you have xx
